I saw great tricks and progression out of the entire crew. The morning was spent getting readjusted to the full skate lifestyle and mindset. I could tell right off the bat that Pat Precourt has not let his skate get dusty since Ive seen him last, and his counterpart Ryan earned First Blood of Skatecamp with a nicked shin.
Nathan Hunter didn't quite realize what he was getting into, but wasted no time getting into it. He learned to drop into transitioned ramps today and has a nice ollie.
Stefan impressed me with the esoteric Casper flip, Tanner outdid me for most injured skater by skating the day away in an arm cast, and Brandon blew me away with pop-shuvs, kickflips and great style. Another highlight was seeing my old skate partner Skip's son Connor ripping around with his Old Man's style.
Rory plants a foot
After getting our legs under us at the SMS park, we hit the road and skated Wardsboro's park. We skirted the puddles and had a blast. Parrish backside 5050ed a good size Hubba to earn one of the pairs of Oakley shades on the line.
We then hit the local swim hole where Finn Shiely made his first-day impession on all by front flipping into the drink (see photo).

FINN drops in
After cooling off it was on to the Mt Snow Park where all sorts of tricks went down. See photos below and ponder Ryan's dog pisser wallride and Pat's giant gap kickflip.
Thanks to Oakley for sponsoring Day One of Skatecamp. I can't wait for Day Two!
